IBSS Business Panel – “Building For Our Future”
Join us on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 at the Louis’ Pub and get a chance to hear from four notable Indigenous business leaders and the challenges and successes they have faced!
The lineup for the panel includes:
Kendal Netmaker, Owner of Neechie Gear
Tanya LaRose, Saskatoon Real Estate, Royal LePage Varsity
Lionel Tootoosis, Sr. Vice President of Operations, SIGA
Shaina Lynden, Co-owner/Instructor of Ryde YXE Cycle Studio, Police Officer
These four notable Indigenous business leaders will be sitting on a panel and be answered questions by a moderator relating to their field of work or studies they have achieved. Many Indigenous professionals face barriers to their personal, academic and professional goals and giving advice to other Indigenous students will motivate Indigenous students to become a leader in the community.
The event details are as follows:
- 1:00PM: Doors open
- 1:30PM: Reception begins – this is a great opportunity to mingle with the speakers, representatives, and other students
- 2:00PM: Panel starts and moderator will be asking questions. There will be a 5 minute question period for the audience at the end.
- 3:30PM: The program will wrap up.
Please RSVP by 4:30pm, Tuesday, January 7th, 2020
Note – We are also accepting perishable food items to go to food bank as donations
