Evicting Radon as a source of Canadian Lung Cancer – Saskatoon

Free public lecture on the dangers of radon gas presented by Dr. Aaron Goodarzi, Canada Research Chair for Radiation Exposure Disease

New research finds that Canadians living in Saskatchewan are the second highest radon-exposed population on Earth. Advocates urge Saskatchewan residents to test their home with scientists and, by doing so, find the solutions we all need to help everyone to ‘evict’ radon from the province.

Dr. Goodarzi is a University professor and is the research lead of Evict Radon, a Canadian non-profit and group of scientists whose goal is to solve Canada’s substantial and worsening radon-gas exposure problem. They are doing this by using interdisciplinary research to actually understand our radon problem and then engineer solutions for the benefit of all Canadians.
